The Domain Name System (DNS) is a hierarchical naming system for computers, services, or any resource participating in the Internet. It serves as the "phone book" for the Internet by translating human-friendly computer into numeric (binary) IP addresses.

DNS client in TweakMASTER helps you diagnose various connectivity issues by letting you query DNS server of your choice. By default, your computer's first default DNS server is queried. However you may elect to use any other DNS for troubleshooting. When resolving web site connectivity problems, it is often useful to first query WhoIs database for authoritative DNS servers, and then compare DNS query results from your default DNS server and the authoritative DNS server for domain in question.

Connection Minder
TweakMASTER is able to execute user-specified programs upon detection of an active Internet connection. This feature is useful when you don't want programs to be started on Windows startup, yet want them to be available when you connect to the Internet.
